Hair

McKay is going through a long hair phase. Which is unusual because I like to keep it short and he has always gone along with it. But every time I tell him it's time for a haircut he tells me he wants it long. So instead of cutting it we are styling it funky instead. This is his personal favorite. It's called "Shark Hair". This first picture is his shark face. Scary, huh? And of course, to get the full effect of "Shark Hair" there is the profile picture. You don't want to be swimming when this boy is in the water! Watch out!

Sophie is having an exceptionally good hair day today. Which meant that we had to document it properly on the blog. Isn't her hair gorgeous? Yes, it is naturally curly. Yes, I am lucky. The first picture is a classic Sophie pose. You can tell by the scrunched up nose and full teethed smile (as opposed to the more subtle look of no nose scrunching and fewer teeth being shown). The second is "Pondering Sophie"; this look was achieved when she was instructed to not smile and to not look at mommy. Really, I just wanted a better shot of her hair.

You and I have the same taste in music, I know that this has nothing at all to do with your post but when I logged on Jordin Sparks "one step at a time" was playing. I just added that to my playlist yesterday. Funny

Hee, hee! Olivia has no hair to speak of yet. We call her hairstyle "Kojak".
