So I ordered "Breaking Dawn" from Amazon because 1) I love Amazon and buy all of my books from them and 2) I was told they make special deliveries for popular books on their release dates. Ummmm. . .that so did not happen people! The book has been out for five days and I still don't have it! But really, I will still get it sooner (five days late from Amazon) than I would have if I bought it from a store because I haven't been to a store in a week and I won't be going to one any time soon. In the mean time, I picked up (from my bookshelf, of course) "Twilight" Friday night to get back into the series. Finished it and "New Moon" and am now half way through "Eclipse". So, I guess it's alright in the end. Can't wait to see what happens in "Breaking Dawn". And please people, don't talk about it in front of me or behind me or near me until I get the dang book and can read it!

I haven't read it yet either. Well that's not entirely true, I have read 6 chapers when I was in utah visiting my sister in law. I am back in texas now and haven't bought it yet
my mom reads her books and loves them too. they were on sale at HEB plus at midnight on the release day. i have pre-ordered several books from amazon but my experiences were good. I received the books on release date. hmmm.... maybe you should complain. enjoy your weather - feels like an oven here!
I ordered it from Amazon too - and am now regretting that decision. At the time (several months ago) it seemed like a good idea. When I ordered The Host from them they shipped it the day before the release date and I got it really fast. But this time I am still waiting for it!! It's killing me. I would have made a special trip to go buy it a week ago if I had known it would take this long! Hopefully I will get it today...
