Okay, I finished it. It took me longer than I thought. In an effort to not spoil it for those still waiting patiently to read it, I will only say that while I had some doubts at the beginning of the book, it redeemed itself by the end. So, yes, I did like it.
It's been busy here. Really, when is it not busy? We have been looking at houses and are trying to decide which one is best for our family. Over the past two weeks Layla has mastered crawling and had two teeth come in. Emma's school is adding a preschool and I've been hired as the teacher. Which is exciting, we just need some students! I've been trying to plan and organize curriculum and lessons. We are getting ready for a family camping trip this weekend. Yes, I'm still editing photos. I apologize again, it's just been insanely busy the past month. It's getting cold here at night. Does that mean the summer is coming to an end? The days are still plenty warm, but today I woke up to a 60 degree house. I'm not ready for it to cool down yet.
Whew! There you have it. Our life in a few sentences. I'm hoping for a slower pace to kick in anytime, but I doubt that's going to happen with summer ending. So, if the blog is a little lonely for a while, you'll all know why.
