I updated the code for the 3 column layout

I updated the "Three Column Layout" post to reflect an easier way to achieve the three column look. You should now be able to simply copy and paste the code needed to change your blog. I hope it's a little bit easier now!

K so I tried to do it again with copying and pasting your codes, and it still didn't work. It said this (Invalid variable declaration in page skin: Variable is used but not defined. Input: startSide) Do you know what that means? Thanks
Ashley

Ashley, I'm so sorry it's not working! I'm now just as confused as you are. I copied the code exactly from my current blog, which is three-column and working just fine, so I don't understand why it won't work. Are you able to preview your blog before you save it? If the preview shows three columns, then you should be able to ignore the "Invalid" message that comes up. Unless I could see your blog's specific code, I don't know why it's giving you an error. I changed Steffani's by going in to her blog myself. If you want, I could do the same for yours. Otherwise, you might try googling "Three Column Layout". I came across a few different sites that provided ways to change the code.

Tiffy- I think you should just have the code without the box around it. I think that's the problem. It's no problem to copy and paste without the boxes that you have around it.

The only code you are copying should be the stuff NOT in the boxes. The boxes with code in them are there only to show you where you need to put the new code on your own blog. You shouldn't be copying any of the code from the boxes.
