Circles

I know that I'm not that entertaining. Which is why this blog has been neglected so much. I guess my life is pretty much the same day in and day out. Doesn't sound very entertaining. But as a mom, my days are sometimes filled with all sorts of interesting things. I just need to look at life differently. After surfing around some blogs, I found an excellent example of everyday entertainment. Check out this post. I was laughing hysterically. Okay, probably not hysterically, but it is pretty funny. And a hilarious example of life with kids!

Short and Sweet

Imagine the hormones that will be raging when I have four teenage girls! Yes, four girls! We are having another girl!
Sure, a boy would have evened out the family a little more, but I can't complain. It will be fun to have four girls. McKay was a bit disappointed, but I think he's over it for the time being. He'll just be an expert on girls now.

Yay for girls!

Yes, it's the monthly update

My goal is one post a month and so far I am right on target! Seriously, I swear all I do with this blog is update. Oh well, maybe I'll get better. So here's the monthly update:

* We've gone country! We decided to downsize for a while and moved into my in-laws vacation home. Yes, the same one we lived in when we first moved back from Texas (I'm being super-sleuth-like by not saying the name of the town we are in. Never know what psychos might be reading this!) Anyway, we love it here. So peaceful and quiet and beautiful.

* We are the proud owners of ten chickens and one rooster! Crazy and we've been getting six eggs a day. We had a dog for about a week (a neighbor's dog adopted us, but then they moved). She was a really sweet dog, but we're hoping to get our own soon.

* We are planting a garden for the first time ever. Both Dave and I rototillered the huge thing and it was actually a lot of fun!

* Emma had a birthday and turned seven. Sheesh! It seems a bit surreal that I have a child that age.

*Dave had a birthday and turned 30! Which is sooooo not old. He thinks so; I think not. 30 is the new 20!

I am so excited for summer! Going to the lake, playing outside, summer parties, friends and family visiting. It's going to be great!

Random Bits

My life and brain are random and scattered right now, so this post is going to be. . . yep. . . . random and scattered.

1. I'm eleven weeks pregnant and I swear I look five months pregnant. Yay for me.

2. Easter is my favorite holiday for candy. Yum! I need to stock up for the whole year.

3. I am no longer working! Hip heavenly hooray!

4. It's almost spring. Hopefully.

5. Emma and McKay are both on soccer teams for the first time. And if it would stop snowing they could actually have practices and games.

6. We're moving. Again. We decided to downsize for a while until Dave's appraisal business is up and running. So yes, I'm packing. And no, it's not fun. But I have gotten rid of tons of stuff. So that's good.

7. We bought a conversion van about a month ago. I'll have to post pictures because it totally rocks. Why go mini when you can go big? It's super cool!

8. Hmmmm. . .I'm tired, but not as tired as I was while I was pregnant with Layla and not as sick either.

9. Super cool! My sister and two of my close cousins are pregnant ! That means we'll have a baby in August, two in October, and one in November. I think it's cool! And I'm so excited to be pregnant at the same time as my sister!

Okay, that's it for now. I think I'll go have a nap!

The latest fashions

What fashions will you be wearing this spring and summer?

The sleek and slenderizing pencil skirt?
The high-waisted skinny jeans?

The big and shiny belt?

I'm afraid I won't be wearing any of those this year since I'll be sporting the fashionable baby bump instead!

We're expecting baby number five!!!!
